ST. JOSEPH, Mo.— As part of its Circle the Wagons event celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, the Pony Express Museum, 914 Penn St., will unveil its “new” covered wagon on the grounds outside the community room during two free-admission days Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27.
The two-day event will offer the public an opportunity to take photos, including props and costumes, alongside the 1900s wagon, now complete with a cover.
“Put on your bonnet and apron or pioneer hat and step back in time with a photo of you and your family, recording your day in history,” noted a news release.
